With a stunning view like Lake Bled and bit of creativity you can still get a great photo, even if the sky is without clouds!
In my last article, Lake Bled Viewpoint Part 1, I showed you a great view of Lake bled known as the Bench View (which is now sadly the Ex-Bench View). However, just a little way down the path from this viewpoint is another great view.
The red marker on the map here shows roughly where you need to be. From here you can get all three of the key elements in perfect alignment: island church, castle and Mt Stol. You can even get the Church of Saint Martin the frame.
It’s a tricky shot due to the surrounding trees, but if you maneuver about and set your tripod down low you can just about get a clear composition through the trees. Otherwise, you can also use the trees as a frame.
