At first I was annoyed when the usual road to Sveta Ana church was closed and I was diverted through the village of Kamnik pod Krimom. But when I chanced upon this viewpoint showing both these churches in an adjacent setting, I forgave them. It just goes to show how driving around can reveal all sorts of different perspectives.
Having now found this new perspective, I have logged the coordinates for future reference and look forward to revisiting it in better light and conditions.
This is a view of the church of Sveti Josef (Saint Joseph) and the church of Saint Anna (Sveta Ana). Both churches are perched upon an exposed hill overlooking the Ljubljansko Barje (Ljubljana moors) near the village of Preserje.
These churches are just two of many that dot the landscape of the Ljubljana Moors in Slovenia. Usually, I am standing on the hilltop of the church on the left, Sveta Ana, photographing the view of the Sveti Josef church, which was my plan today.
