A scouting trip for my autumn workshop
Located in northern Slovenia, near to Kranjska Gora, is a location known as the Fairytale Cottage. I went here on a scouting trip the other day as I plan to include this location on my autumn workshop this year, which will be five days instead of the usual four.
It wasn’t the best day for photography, but the idea of a scouting trip is not to get great shots, but to determine the potential of a location and when to get the best shots.
And boy this place sure has a lot of potential, especially in autumn. I realized on my visit that it will be best photographed at sunrise, as the sun will come up to the left of those mountains and throw beautiful warm light across those peaks and on the front of that little cottage.
I plan to return for a sunrise soon, and many more times before my workshop to see for sure.
